Full EPC for the 74.9 MW Solar PV Gen-Tie Transmission Interconnectionin Florida

This generating facility interconnects via a new breakered terminal at the Switching Station. The point of interconnection is the first transmission line termination structure of the generation tie line outside the switching station.

United Grid Solutions (UGS) furnished all engineering, permitting, steel pole modeling, procurement, scheduling, outage management, and construction services to design, engineer, procure, construct, test, and commission the new breakered terminal and associated transmission interconnection work. The scope of work includes labor, supervision, engineered equipment, and materials.

Tasks also included surveying, subsurface investigation, land clearing, grading, drainage, switching station pad preparation, fencing, access aprons, installation of foundations, steel structures, bus, hardware, conductor, OHGW, control cables, relays, grounding, equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
