James Wyche is chief executive officer of Pike Corporation. He served as chief operating officer of the company from 2020 to May 2023. James has been affiliated with Pike for more than 20 years, serving as outside legal counsel and strategic adviser prior to joining the company as an employee.

James holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Clemson University and a Juris Doctor from Duke University.

Brian Sights is chief operating officer of Pike Corporation. Since joining in 2011, Brian has held positions of increasing responsibility in varying functional groups ranging from Finance to Special Projects and most recently Operations, working with Pike’s executive team on strategic initiatives including recapitalizations, M&A and organically growing lines of business.

Prior to joining Pike, Brian worked in financial and management consulting, focusing on restructuring and turnarounds.

Brian holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University.

Jason Yaudes is chief financial officer of Pike Corporation. Before joining Pike in 2025, Jason was chief financial officer of the Kenan Advantage Group, one of the nation’s largest specialty fleet and logistics providers.

Prior to Kenan, Jason served as chief financial officer at several large-scale wholesale distribution companies with national distribution footprints. Jason began his career at Arthur Anderson LLP.

Jason received his Bachelor of Science in business administration in accounting from Appalachian State and is a CPA (inactive).

Scott Aaronson is chief commercial officer of Pike Corporation, having joined the company in 2026. Prior to Pike, Scott spent 17 years with the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), starting in the government relations department, focusing on security and grid resilience issues and ultimately leading EEI’s energy security and industry operations team. In addition to his role at EEI, Scott also served as the secretary for the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council (ESCC), the primary liaison between senior government officials and industry leaders representing all segments of the sector. Earlier in his career, Scott was a senior advisor to members of Congress serving the 12th Congressional District of California. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder for his undergraduate studies and a master’s degree from The George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management.

John Armbrecht serves as chief information officer for Pike Corporation, where he oversees all technology and platforms across the company’s business operations. In this role, John drives Pike’s technology strategy to meet functional business needs while positioning the company as a technology leader in the construction and energy sectors.

John joined Pike in March 2023, bringing with him more than 25 years of technology leadership experience spanning a diverse range of organizations, including True Value, Kohl’s, Belk, OfficeMax and Sears, Roebuck & Co.

John holds a degree from Governors State University and studied telecommunications engineering at Liberty University.

Will Pike serves as Executive Vice President of Commercial and Industrial. He is responsible for Pike’s commercial and industrial business unit strategy, business development, and project delivery functions.

Previously, he served as Chief Commercial Officer, Senior Vice President of Pike Electric’s Western Division, and held a variety of construction and engineering operational roles.

Will graduated from The University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Engineering Business.

James Banner is senior vice president of administration and safety of Pike Corporation. His responsibilities include safety, compliance and all human resource activities, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement and overall employee relations for Pike’s 12,000 employees.

James has more than 20 years’ experience during his career with Pike, serving in the field, operations, financial planning and analysis before taking on his current role leading Pike safety and administration.

James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Accounting degree from North Carolina State.

Wade Sample is the senior vice president and general counsel at Pike Corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he has served since January 2022. Prior to joining Pike, Wade was a partner at Moore & Van Allen for nearly a decade, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, capital markets, securities and public company matters.

Earlier in his career, he gained experience as an analyst at both Perry Capital and Citi, specializing in equity investing and M&A advisory.

Wade holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and history from the University of Notre Dame and earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
