Full EPC for a 100 MW/200 MWh LFP Battery Energy Storage Facility in Texas

The project was a 1 Pike effort, consisting of Pike Engineering, Pike Electric, Pike Renewables, and Pike Telecom. Full EPC scope of a substation and transmission connected facility. Included all engineering, site work, foundations, fencing, electrical, substation construction, transmission construction and connection to POI, and commissioning support. BESS consisted of 32- PCS units and 64- 40’ air cooled containers with the handloading of 15,500 Li-ion LFP batteries.

RESULTS

  • To mitigate the site’s extremely fine dirt, as well as cleanliness and housekeeping issues inside the container, Pike worked at night when the winds were not as strong.
