100 MW /200 MWh – LFP Battery TEXAS

Full EPC for a 100 MW/200 MWh LFP Battery Energy Storage Facility in Texas

The project was a 1 Pike effort, consisting of Pike Engineering, Pike Electric, Pike Renewables, and Pike Telecom. Full EPC scope of a substation and transmission connected facility. Included all engineering, site work, foundations, fencing, electrical, substation construction, transmission construction and connection to POI, and commissioning support. BESS consisted of 32- PCS units and 64- 40’ air cooled containers with the handloading of 15,500 Li-ion LFP batteries.

RESULTS

To mitigate the site’s extremely fine dirt, as well as cleanliness and housekeeping issues inside the container, Pike worked at night when the winds were not as strong.
