Pike Engineering provided permit management and QC services to a customer for all its incoming joint-use attachments. The pilot project has industry-changing potential in approaching this process, utilizing an outsourced model with Pike Engineering receiving permit requests directly from the third-party attachers. Pike will handle all intake, scheduling, and monitoring of the permits through their lifecycle, which includes QC and post construction inspections. Previously, the utility managed these functions in-house and this will be the first time these services are outsourced.
