Clearing Corridor and Building Access for a 115 kV Transmission Line in Texas
Burford’s Construction successfully completed a 115 kV Transmission Line project on behalf of a major Texas Utility. Working in close coordination with Pike Electric line crews, Burford’s team provided critical civil construction support to enable access for the installation and setting of new transmission line structures.
The civil scope of work spanned six miles of new corridor and included: clearing and grubbing of a 6-mile transmission line corridor, rock access road construction, stream crossing installation, gate and fence installation, as well as erosion and sediment control installation throughout.
A key component of this project was the collaborative effort between Burford’s civil crews and Pike Electric, ensuring timely and safe utility crew access to each pole location along the corridor.
